A Few Of My Latest Projects . . .

I've been spending quite a bit of time at one of my favorite LLS (local scrapbook store) , Memories Live On in Cupertino, CA. It is one of the places that I feel comfortable creating the projects that I see in my mind. Vivian and Mort, the owners, are very sweet and let me hang out as much as I want, mostly because I laugh at Mort's jokes.

Some weekends I bring my 4 year old granddaughter and we create together. Like on September 12th, Grandparents Day, Lina and I spent the day creating a Tinkerbelle themed Accordion Album. We decided on Tinkerbelle after we returned from the store next door that had Tinkerbelle costumes for Halloween in every size from toddler to adult. Although I placed the papers in the trimmer Lina did the cutting, most of the chalking, used my ATG 714 adhesive gun and some of the adhering of the papers. Here are a couple of pictures of what we created:

Is it October Already?

Woke up this morning and realized it was October 1st! Already? Where did September go? I was very content celebrating my birthday for the whole month! This is a whole new season for me and I am so looking forward to seeing what transpires!

Okay, so I have been putting off writing down all of my appointments & commitments for October on my calendar. I sat down this afternoon and diligently entered all of them down and came to the conclusion that I am one busy gal. I'm hosting crops, teaching classes, designing layouts & paper crafts, attending meetings, lunching with my awesome friend, Suzie D., spending family time, worshiping at church and working at St. Luke. All things I love to do!

It suddenly occurred to me that I almost scheduled myself right out of completing a couple of very important "must do" tasks at home. I guess we save that which doesn't excite us for last . . . or maybe that is just me. Anyway, I will have to jump on those and soon. My problem is getting started with the things I don't love but must do. Sunday after church will be "D-day!" I'll let you know how far I've gotten next week.

As for tonight, I am sitting here at MLO working on some projects with a couple of my South Bay friends. Will post pictures of my latest when finished.

Happy Scrappin'
